    comma, apostrophe, colon and semi-colon
    capital letter, dash and hyphen
    quotation mark and inverted comma
    exclamation mark and title
     

  • Grammar

  • clear, concise writing
    correct sentence and paragraph construction
    avoiding waffle and jargon
    overcoming the limitations of spell checker
    commonly confused words
    the 'active' and 'passive' 'voices'
    improving readability statistics
    titles and headings
    the correct use of abbreviations

  • etiquette and helping the receiver
    addressing correctly
    using the Subject Line to achieve results
    using the greeting and layout professionally
